Intro to the Industrial Revolution

               Chapter 9 : The Industrial Revolution 

      In chapter nine you will learn about the Industrial Revolution of the 1700's. How people lived and what their daily lives were like are things discussed in this chapter. It describes in great detail the working conditions of men, women, and children. City life was not safe or sanitary either. 

      The people of this time period begin to fight back and try to change the way things are happening. This chapter discusses how these people did this and exactly what they had to go through. 

      In this chapter I hope to learn the importance of sanitary living and labor laws. If it were not for the labor laws that we have today, we might still have the same way of life as they did in the 1700's.
